I can't figure it out. How much of each individual trade was due to cap structuring, (present and future), and how many were more position upgrades (In the opinion of the Rams, of course).
On the surface, because I don't get this stuff and don't really want too... it pretty much ALL looks like 'cap structuring' to me, with positional strength considered either 'status quo' or perhaps somewhat 'less' but worth it for cap considerations.
Did any of that make any sense? I'm not sure.
Again, "ON THE SURFACE"... it all seems to me to be a restructuring of not the specific players so much, (somewhat yes, of course), but an economic restructuring in hopes of maintaining the ability to consistently field a winning team. Yes? No? - JamesJM
