On the surface this looks like a nothing signing, BUT its actually pretty significant.

The Rams know that Whit is slowing down so they're bringing in a body to take on the rigors of camp in an attempt to keep Whit fresh.

He's a veteran who doesn't need the mental reps he just needs the conditioning.

Its little subtle moves like this that reap huge dividends.

The Rams are a smart organization now...we should ALL be grateful for that!!
