I want Watkins back too. But I would also argue that Woods and Kupp could definitely improve from 10 TDs to 15 in 2018. It's also reasonable to expect production increases from Everett and Reynolds (from 27 catches to 60+). So Watkins leaving doesn't mean the passing game has to suffer.
In the end I agree with the Rams prioritizing one of their best defensive players over their 4th leading receiver. Hope both are back in 2018 though.
