I don’t think that Rock was suggesting the signing of all 3 players, merely suggesting a priority list?
As to affording new incoming FA’s? I think it’s very doable, tbh. In fact, it seems inevitable.
Not necessarily blue ribbon A listers, but highly effective 2nd tier FA’s, nonetheless. BTW, I don’t consider Rock’s guys as top tier FA’s, anyway.
Trade or release Quinn and Barron while allowing TruJo to walk and add those savings to our existing $45 million in cap space and we’re in great shape for several shrewd FA moves, IMO.
Last year was an excellent illustration of shrewd FA moves both outgoing and incoming. Tremendous bang for the buck with incoming 2nd tier FA’s such as Woods, Sully, Barwin, Webster, and NRC. Whit was the sole top tier incoming FA.
These FO and coaches get it.
Good points 43. That might just work. We were good at doing it last year, no reason we cannot do it again this year. Plus, after a winning season, it might be easier (cheaper) to get some new blood here.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
