I am not convinced they can sign their own people and indulge in a high-market FA shopping spree at the same time.
There's only so many guys a team can fit on its "8-10 players get 50% of the cap" list. (How many can a team fit on their "8-10 players get 50% of the cap" list? 8-10.
).
They could re-arrange things so that there's more space this year and maybe they can sign a high market FA or 2. We'll see how it plays out.
I would personally prefer that they prioritize their own guys.
Either way the idea that they can sign
3 FAs strikes me as fairly unlikely.
Especially in a year when teams like the Browns, Colts, 49ers, and Jets are in a position to drive prices up.
