At a certain point for major deals value has to intersect with cost. I just don't see it here. Maybe Phillips does, we shall see. But by any measure he is a good, not great, CB. And between the 2nd franchise tag and clear attempts to trade him last summer I would guess they plan to turn the page. I think it's the right call. What it will cost to (hopefully) retain Joyner and Robey-Coleman is much better value. They are not going to let Watkins go. And Donald is up.
