Is you have a #1 receiver who is that efficient in the red zone and you only get him 10 targets.
Let's look at some FACTS here.
The Redskins were in bottom third in the NFL in red zone efficiency with McVay as the reported play caller.The Rams have not fared well scoring TD's in the redzone.But your #1 receiver has 7 TD's on 7 recs on 10 targets inside the 20 yard line.
Why on earth would McVay/Goff not be getting him the ball more?!?!?.I sat there in the Seattle game and watched Watkins beat Sherman on a slant which would have been the winning TD, instead they went to a rookie.
This is alarming to ME.
It part and parcel to my concerns I expressed all year of McVay not taking advantage of mismatches.
It's a concern for ME.
