How many 3-4 defenses need a NT that early?
This group has some guys into midrounds that can stuff the run too. Plus you have that tendency for Bama dudes to slide from being maxed out, not to mention that Vea is a freak and will probably be the first DT off the board due to his flexibility.
I mean it's still early but with Vea and him both being there I have a lot of hope the Rams knock out NT there at 23. And if not, there are some very good edge OLB types I'd love to see the Rams at least consider. Definitely leaning front 7 there at 23, personally, with CB in round 3.
Makes sense, too. Yeah, Front Seven for the first pick. Second year under Wade? Add a bit more talent and boom!! A very good defense could easily become EEE-LEET. The Rams are very, very close to winning the whole enchilada!
