If he was successful, he get the targets.
Something is wrong with him and there are issues:
1) He seems confused so many times out of the huddle and on play changes at the line of scrimmage.
2) He is clumsy on his cuts out of patterns. Maybe that is a foot injury with health and may get better.
3) He can't judge a ball at all
4) Because of #3, he can't win 50/50 balls
#1 and #3 are particularly concerning. It is almost Lawrence Phillips like or a kid that can't judge a fly ball. Has some depth perception issues
Positives:
1) He is very strong
2) He has great hands
I feel Watkins has something wrong with him. He is not the same player he was when he averaged 1000 yards in his first 2 season on a bad offensive team.
I do think the Rams need a player like Watkins, but maybe there is a better option out there for less money. If we can get the Watkins from his first 2 seasons, I stay stick, but that guy may be gone forever.
