It’s clearly gonna get a ton of offseason attention via draft and FA, but it still might not yet be completely “finished”, even then.
Run D improvement is a must and will be a strong emphasis this offseason.
I think rush LB is also a crying need.
Then again, we might need 2, count ‘em, TWO new outside CB’s.
And we lack a 2nd rounder, barring trade.
Gonna need some really shrewd FA acquisitions, obviously. Can’t realistically accomplish all of the above with just 2 premium draft picks.
I suspect some outside the box thinking is going on including trading or releasing several players including Tavon, Quinn, and Barron. Not exactly predicting it, but I do see such moves as on the table.
Might see as many as 6 new starters on D come opening day. How’s that for turnover? Lol.
Can’t name names of newbies, just speaking in generalities about needs while factoring in cap impacts.
But, trust me, change on D is in the wind.
