But I'd pretend to be mad that we hadn't picked a CB ...
I think we have options later at CB because Wade likes them smaller ... and there are some mighty mice in this draft.
I always work with the fanspeak app to see the sheer number of ranked CBs and how the draft falls ... in around the 4th round the top players on the board, the top 10 in fact, are all corners that have slid because of the amount of mid round depth at the position. Because there are a few guys at the top ... depending on who you're listening to that will get reached for ... then no one will reach for the second tier and they all get caught up in a wash as players at other positions (WR, TE, RB, OG) start flying off the board ... then in oround 3 you've got all these players, teams that have met their needs, and a lot of opportunity to get talent.
This area is rich ... (this is not my board)
104 CB M.J. STEWART - NORTH CAROLINA (Maybe my favorite underrated player at the position)
105 CB QUENTON MEEKS - STANFORD
108 CB JC JACKSON - MARYLAND (This guy will likely rise)
118 CB HOLTON HILL - TEXAS
133 CB LEVI WALLACE - ALABAMA
137 CB DJ REED - KANSAS STATE (LOVE Him to replace nickel robey)
139 CB JEREMY REAVES - SOUTH ALABAMA
140 CB BRANDON FACYSON - VIRGINIA TECH
142 CB JUAN THORNHILL - VIRGINIA (way underrated, but maybe slow)
143 CB DONTE JACKSON - LSU (I think he may go much earlier than this, pushing others down)
154 CB KEVIN TOLIVER II - LSU
155 CB DERRICK BAITY - KENTUCKY
156 CB IMAN MARSHALL - USC (don't like)
159 CB DARIUS PHILLIPS - WESTERN MICHIGAN (really smooth
160 CB DEATRICK NICHOLS - SOUTH FLORIDA (really like him)
There are more after this that I'd swipe at in the 6th.
