Snead has made it awfully clear that in his study, good olineman come most often from the mid rounds of the draft.
However I think he also realizes that the odds of getting a high starting quality LT outside the 1st round are long.
So if he were to pick an olineman in round 1, it would be a guy they think will replace Whitworth in a year or so. And I do think this is a distinct possibility this year.
