8.5 sacks is not bad especially when you get 5 in the last 5 games. That makes it look like it took him some time to get acclimated to the new D but now it's expected he'll be super productive.

So what would motivate him to reduce his salary? Why play ball? 10+ caliber sack guys are easily worth $12M.
