Totally agree. QB play is very important in this league. And Goff's development is key to how deep we go in the post season.
If I was in charge, I will continue to surround the kid with players to help with his development. Defense will be fine in Wade's second year and can be bolstered with the draft.
I would use cap monies instead to resign Watkins, Sully, get a vet TE (Jimmy Graham) and upgrade the RT pos.
And no more splitting the field in half and limiting Goff's field of vision. Let Goff see the whole field and get him used to reading the defense.
Can't wait to see what this team will look like next season.
