I believe to win this game, the Rams have to carry the lead in the 4th quarter. I know with Wilson as the QB, you are always in trouble as he is a master of late game comebacks, but I believe based on how this season has gone, that the Rams cannot win in the 4th quarter if the element of "Time" is the factor.
I don't know if I have ever seen anything like that 3 and out last week burning up so much clock and basically ending the game because of the "Time" element. The team is completely unprepared in late game situations trailing is what that showed.
To win this game, don't trail in the 4th quarter and make Time an element, because apparently Goff is so unprepared that he has to listen to every word McVay says before the snap and it uses the entire play clock. The fact that this game is going to be played in one of the loudest stadiums in the league will magnify this big weakness. Watkins might as well come out of the game at that point because he won't be able to hear the play changes in the 40 seconds of conversation of each play that takes place at the line of scrimmage from that far out. He has a hard enough time at home knowing what is going on.
I hope they worked on that this week and it is better for this game, but I believe it is the worst hurry up offense that I have every seen.
