I think those Goff explanations to Sammy came earlier in the season when Sammy was new. As it said, now they're both seeing holes in the defense so that shows growth for both.

But what about lately? Do you have the impression that Watkins has mastered this O 100% even yet?
Or hustles 100% on every play?
If so, can you think of one logical reason that Goff isn’t going to him more? Is there a good reason that Goff still heavily favors Woods and Kupp with his targets?
I’m telling you, somethings still just not quite “right” about Watkins’ assimilation into this O. We all expected more and better, I’m sure.
I favor drawing an arbitrary $9 million line in the sand on Watkins ‘18 salary. Otherwise, let some other team pay the bigger bucks for his “potential”.
