Anybody think it might be a good idea to franchise tag him for a year? Buy's us some time to see if he continues to develop, keeps his attitude positive, and begins to better digest offensive scheming. Throwing a five year big-money commitment out there right now seems a little risky if his head isn't right. Yeah I'm guessing the WR tag's probably about 13 mil which he hasn't played up to, but it's a short term commitment.
I think we'll probably sign Donald long term this off-season and I can't see them tagging Tru again, so the tag would be available. Only other guy we might consider using it on is MAYBE Joyner.
