It would be a huge loss if Sammy is not on this team long term.
85% of the time he touches the ball we get a first down. 21% of the time he touches the ball we get a TD. Those are tops with Rams receivers.
Imagine if he was 1st in targets instead of 4th.
Sammy consistently beats his man each game. Goff just needs to look his way more. Those watching all 22 can confirm this or not. But there are a handful of plays each game where Sammy is open for a huge play but the QB is not looking his way.
He leads the team in TD receptions yet he is only fourth in targets. That should say something to people.
