Exactly. I agree completely. He may or may not have different aspirations. But I think many position coaches with long tenures stay that way by choice. They don't aspire to be the CEO/Principal/President. My hope is when he was retained after McVay was hired that they made it worth his while. The players certainly live and perform for him.
