Go to the NY times playoff calculator.
Enter all the scenarios you want.
Right now if you go there and enter Rams losing to Seattle and Tennessee, but do not predict any other games, their playoff chances remain over 50% at 57.
Obviously, that might change if you start predicating other losses that are bad for the Rams.
Their format will highlight bad results for Rams (if you select Rams) in pink or red, and good results in green.
If you give as many wins as possible to the Lions, the Falcons, the Saints, the Panthers, during those two weeks that the Rams are losing to Seattle/Tennessee, then their playoff hopes dim to around 5 to 15%, depending on who you give the win to between Falcons/Saints in week 16.
So, no, the Rams will not be
mathematically eliminated just by losing the next two. But it won't look good, and they will need help at that point.
I'm getting tired of repeating this, but any way you cut it,
2 more wins gets them in. Any 2 wins. Absolutely regardless of what any other team does.Let's hope the Rams don't need any help, and just power through it on their own. Starting next week in Seattle.
