seems to me that you don't summarily re-route your scheme without some toying with the play pieces.
while I am derisive of Tavon in many ways, there's a realm where analytics don't provide an entire picture.
The stats folks have taken the time to punch up on the board aren't exactly supportive of Austin getting snaps
One wonders if that led to the coaches, and GM coming to a conclusion that veered away from #11
I was in the camp of using Tavon on short stuff in this last game. He was an easy one to spot in the one package he played in a bad down and distance situation.
Or ?????
Did Tavon have a bad week? On the field, off the field, preparation, classroom / film room?? Did it date backwards a game or two?
coach speak aside........Tavon wasn't viewed in favored terms, and now we're sure that he's a key component in this game
