Did you read all of what I wrote? Because it really is that simple. It comes down to simple, rational thinking. Most people are surprised simply because they weren't thinking about the Rams' circumstances last year properly. Simply realizing that the offense was being led by a rookie quarterback trying to learn to play in a new offensive system should have led reasonable people to expect some rough times. But media people were calling Jared Goff a bust before he had played even 1/2 of a season.

What kind of thinking is that?
