the NFL has issues, and this one probably is taking a back seat for now
I, too, like Rivers
This last loss was messy.
As for Chargers talk?
None. A bit on Monday about the fiasco of that last game; But by midweek, it was all about McVay. As of yesterday, the national sentiment in media was that every football team doing poorly is looking for the next Sean McVay. I just don't know at this juncture who has done more in their first year for a lousy franchise than the youngster.
San Diego sports radio is facing a chasm in their daily sports digest. More than a few broke their allegiance with Spanos' club, and celebrate only their losses.
One of things that oozed up from the murk of the losses, and poor attendance was the spawn of an idea to move the franchise back to San Diego. It's crazy talk for now, however an ownership change, a sea change within the NFL to acknowledge their mistake, and a lot of ugly times over the course of next season or so?
Battle for LA ?
pretty bad slogan for the Chargers, and not even a skirmish between crickets to admire.
