I thought it was interesting to hear Snead talk about how he kept his job when he was asked on ESPNLA radio. He said that Kroenke and Demoff felt there were things that happened that were unfortunate. I think that was Sneads way of saying K and D felt that Snead wasn't responsible for the Fisher mess. And there were reports by Albert Breer that Snead and Fisher had a big falling out.
We know what the falling out was. Fisher didn't like the fact that Snead failed to get a deal done for Jenkins. Fisher was on vacation so Snead was managing things at that point.
Whether or not Fisher and Snead had an issue is irrelevant when it comes to keeping Snead. That has no bearing on it. You either believe in him or you don't by 2016 and clearly the Rams did, because they not only made him part of a coach search, when the coach was hired they gave him final say on personnel issues. You don't do that with a guy who is on probation.
And unfortunate means bad luck. That's a lot of what happened to the Rams. Demoff would know that. Meaning, Demoff was never going to blame anyone for what was just bad fortune (like not having a qb because of injuries to Bradford).
