5-2 finish?!!
That...that...that would make the Rams 12-4 for the season! That would almost certainly win the division and get at least one home playoff game!
For the Rams??
That would just blow past the Ram43 optimism at season start.
Yes! I know, right!
I did some back of envelope calculating the other day and came up with the same record. 12-4. Had to do it again, shaking my head. 12-4.
AND IT'S NOT UNREASONABLE!
Sure it might not happen, but the job this franchise has done, from the owner to the coaches down to the last special teams player, of picking themselves up and recovering in glorious fashion from the ashes of last season is almost incomprehensible.
It's like Jeff Fisher was a 1000 lb anchor dragging a buoy to the bottom of the ocean, and when the rope finally broke, the buoy came bursting to the surface and shot 50 feet into the air!
There must be veterans on this team that feel like they got out of jail!
Now. They just need to stay focused, stick with McVay, and play like they believe they can win.
Ramily!
