We have scored a lot of points this year through our D and STs units.
I don't remember as much of that in '99, though we did have the Koff guy run a couple back.
I would be interested in seeing a comparison of how much of the points production was due to the offense in both cases.
I still don't feel that we are seeing a GSOT offense yet. I just don't see that.

As LMU93 pointed out, offensive scoring is actually higher for the 2017 Rams than the 1999 Rams. Total scoring(defense, returns, etc.) was higher for the GSOT and made for a tad more excitement(?) which may alter the perception. But, to be fair, since there were so many returns and non-offensive scores, that took away opportunities for that offense.
