Everett; In the endzone
never looked at the tape again, but from my seat the rookie dropped an insanely well thrown TD pass in the Seattle game. Not on Goff
Watkins
Jag game. Has ball in hands and just doesn't do what he always does. Manhandles that puppy for a reception. That's a first down, a chain mover, and pronouncement to a defense that his accountable, tough as nails, and prepared short, medium, and long. Not on Goff.
Woods
It is a forced fumble, and it is an Archuleta / Atogwe /Aeneas type play by the DB. However, that ball? That is well thrown, and is caught. It was a game over play, and just blew up.
As of now, I am not buying that Goff has rolled off. He had, they all had a poor day in LA vs Seattle.
Looking just ahead? I have to say not having to deal with Calais Campbell on the Arizona Cardinal team has to be a big plus.
But, for me, Goff is doing darn well, and putting the ball further down the field than being given credit for.........granted the deep ball could use a solid tweak
Goff did drop back some in the last 2 games. His completion percentage went way down.
BUT that's okay, I see it as a dip in an upward trajectory.
And he also showed a lot of things in those 2 games too. Both against great secondaries.
