Hope is a good thing... maybe the best of things...

Is it me, or is this the most enjoyable Rams season in recent memory?

For me, its all about hope justified.

I'm one of those eternal optimist type fans. I admit it. I own it.

Unfortunately, in recent years, my hopes have been dashed against the rocks of bitter disappointment. Even in seasons like 2016, when we were teased with a 3-1 start, the optimism was tempered by a nagging feeling that the Rams were doing it with mirrors, and reality soon proved that inference.

This years, though, feels different. Don't get me wrong - I'm not counting any chickens, but this team feels more legit than any Rams team in the past several years. In fact, at 4-2, I can't help but feeling that the Rams' best performances in 2017 lie ahead.

Will I be disappointed or vindicated in the end? Who knows?

But I, for one, am having fun as a Rams fan this year.
