Not sure I agree. Gurley & the Run Offense didn't seem to struggle too much. Could it be that McVay was well aware that the strength of the Jags D was against the pass, and not so much against the run? Could it be that McVay game planned to go heavy on the run? Could it be Jared Goff only threw the rock 21 times mostly by design?
No big deal.... I just don't really agree with that line.... Giving props to McVay, the Defense, and especially the Special Teams, but also..... The Offense.
