This is going to be decided more in our secondary and with our DL against thier OL.
I don't expect them (Cards) to be conservative throwing the ball down the field... they never are..
So us making plays on intermediate and deep throws is going to be huge .
Tree and Barron getting drops and getting in the potato field lanes /areas short and intermediate that Farmer Fitz plows weekly is important too .
If they get two pics it can swing game.
They have to be competent able to convert on third down better this week .
This is not a big play prove it game on offence .
They don't have to worry about Campbell up front on that Card DL anymore and thats big .
Since Campbell got a Gurley jersey end game Sunday I hope he traded a quick key towards a win vs Ariz also.
And has had no problem schooling Tru, either. As you say, they are going to test our secondary all over the map as well as the checkdown passes our LBs will have to stay on top of. In addition to AP.
We always have had our hands full with them. This game will likely be no different.
What I am beginning to trust is that McVay will have this team prepared to play. However the game begins, this team will adapt and adjust. We'll see if we can pull the individual efforts out of our players to get it done, but I'm really starting to feel that the Rams are becoming one of the better coached teams in this league. Worried about this game, but think we get 'er done in London.
