All due respect, R2K, but you seem to be ignoring evidence right before your eyes.

Tavon is living on his reputation in the eyes of some. He’s clearly trending down. Two rushes for a net zero yards? Zero receptions? No longer allowed to handle PR? He weakens the team when he forces Gurley or Kupp off the field, IMO.
Quinn? Another player clinging to his former reputation. Two tackles. No sacks. No FF. Don’t recall a pass defensed. Lined up offsides AGAIN. Critical (and stupid) unsportsmanlike penalty. He’s being outplayed by a UDFA.
Watkins? One catch for 11 yards. None the week before. Whatever happened to that Watkins we saw vs the Niners? I want THAT Watkins back. Something’s not “right” about this Watkins of the last few weeks. Hell, I’d sooner start Reynolds or Thomas over this pathetic current Watkins version.

Just calling them as I see them. Sorry.
You're kidding yourself if you think Gurley should be on the field for every snap. Or if you really think he is taking snaps from Kupp. McVay might know what he is doing, just might ....
I'm gonna defer to what McVay likes to run, not the fans. Sorry.
Of course he is over paid, a lot of players are...he makes about the same as fthe other guy that did nothing yesterday Allen Hurns. It happens, nothing we can do about it this year. But ignoring the fact that Gurley's ypc is doubled when Austin is on the field (there was a recent article about it, guess you missed it) and calling that a problem is not seeing the forest through the trees.... You've got to get over your angst with this kid.
Rams are a dropped pass away from being 5-1 and are still 4-2.... Let's not get overworked about Tavon scoring on a 27 yard run that you said your wife could have scored on.
Complaining about winning is not like you.
Never said that Gurley should be on the field for every snap, R2K. Strawman alert. But I have said that I prefer Brown to Tavon for Gurley breathers. When Tavon enters the game, either Gurley or Kupp go to the sideline. Check it out. That weakens our O either way.
I’m a big McVay fan, too. But he’s learning as he goes. IOW, he might benefit from reviewing the results of his Tavon experiments compared to what he’s getting from Brown or Kupp. It’s not even close.
We agree that we are stuck with Tavon and his contract for this year. Those stats when Tavon is on the field are a very limited sample size, btw. Wonder how they will hold up by year end? OR, what if they substituted another for Tavon on the sweeps? Say, Pharoh Cooper or Thomas?
Finally, who’s complaining about winning? I LOVE winning, especially after the last 12-15 years or so. I’m merely offering my opinions in the form of suggestions that McVay might want to consider. Big difference.
