While I was more squeamish over the look and feel of our offense, a game like this does a lot for a young team. I really have no idea regarding the intricacies of this offense and what it entells. What I question really comes down to aesthetics and has little to do with the incredible scope of an offensive installation.
I have supported this team over 40 years and you do see some defining moments. Perhaps this was one. I had targeted week 6 for the defense and I am happy with what I saw today.
I loved our special teams going into the year but frankly was not a Copper fan as a ret until he popped of a few. very elusive in small spaces and not flamboyant but wow I never thought he was capable of returns over 40 yds he has been fantastic surprise.
