Is 4 games from a rookie enough?
I think we should see where he is at the end of the year. Give teams a chance to figure him out. He may have flaws that they can shut him down on. His arm strength is said to be very poor. Can he overcome that? His ball velocity was measured at 49 mph at the combine. That's pretty bad. Some have said thats gonna cause him to throw more INTs. We shall see, cause it looks like he has so many good traits.
By comparison, Goff's ball velocity was measured at 58 mph. And no one says Goff has a rocket.
Actually, Goff's 58 mph ball velocity measured at the combine seems to be higher than what we think we see on the field. Its kind of weird to me. Apparently, the kid can throw heat when he wants to, but throws some soft balls at times that make me scratch my head.
