is that this offense goes four deep on matchups in the passing game. GSoT was Ike/Holt/Az/Faulk. 2017 is Watkins/Woods/Kupp/Gurley. The 2017 version is less explosive, but probably more dependable for possession purposes. Still a long way to go, but the fact that the matchups run four deep ensures they will be a good offense this year as long as Goff continues to progress.
Oh and btw, IF the TE position keeps improving we might see a five deep matchup advantage by the time all is said and done. Things look very good ahead for us.
