--Havenstein recovery of Goff fumble. HUGE. Down 24-16... deep in our own territory... Boys had a real chance to go up by 15.
Goff's ball security (or lack thereof) in the pocket is a major concern for me. It's the only area in his game where I've not seen development. And I fear this will end up biting us more than once by season's end.

--Middle of second half, Goff rolls to his right, then throws a bomb to Higbee running down the left sideline. That play was ON. Goff overthrew it slightly (a speedier player would have gotten it). Next time... they will hit it.
This is the 2nd time that they've designed a deep route to Higbee (first being in the Redskin game). And on both occasions, Higbee was open, but the pass was overthrown. And on both occasions, I found myself wondering why it was Higbee out on the route instead of Everett. Have to wonder if Higgy actually has better straight-away speed than the rookie? Otherwise, I don't get it.
