PassYds/Attempt is widely considered a very accurate predictive stat regarding assessing quality of QB.
The best I could find in recent history is Warner's 9.9 in 2000. Matt Ryan did 9.3 last year, and Rodgers did 9.2 in 2011.
After 3 games, Goff is 10.1. Thats nuts. Mike Salfino who writes for the WSJ, and does a lot of predictive stat research, said that Goff's 10.1 PassYds/Attempt after 3 consecutive games almost certainly demonstrates that he is at least good.
