Their model had the rams in 29th in their Elo ratings prior to the season and predicted to win 6.0 games (their model is based on 100000 simulations so can get fractions of wins). At that time the rams were ahead of Cleveland, SF, and Chicago. After week 3 (minus Monday night), the rams are up to 23rd in Elo and are predicted to win 7.1 games. Keep in mind that the low rating is partially based on where we ended up last year. Last year's ratings will drop out over time so if we really are better this year, then we will start improving in their rating system.
