it seems we now have too many offensive weapons! LOL
Amazing what a competent offensive staff can do...no wonder owners fire/hire new HCs after a year or two sometimes.
I mean, seriously, I sometimes wonder if any of these WRs we had the last decade coulda/woulda thrived in this scheme.
It's so QB/WR/TE/RB friendly and I think we had guys that woulda made our offense at least 15th every year. Schemes matter.
Of course the talent matters too...but schemes can make players appear better than they really are....it happens all the time in FA.
I think Wade will get the defense settled down by mid-season. imo
Wade can adjust and adapt...even if the players are not learning his scheme in time...he'll dial back the defense to fit his talent or understanding for his scheme...and they'll replace in the off-season. I dunno.
In GWs defense it took half a season to get it...then they became our strength for a few years. We have most of those same players, but they are now "thinking" a bit and playing slow on some plays per game. Injuries are always a factor with regards to the talent level....not an excuse...just an explanation!
