I'm thrilled with the overall direction of this franchise. After all those years in the wasteland ... it suddenly feels like the Rams are a vibe again. People are looking at McVay, the staff, the offense, even Wade ... and saying ... 'damn! There might be something good going on there!'
But ... I've gotta admit ... I'm thrilled for the kid.
He took a helluva lot of abuse last year. Abuse that I believe was unfounded. It is nice to think that he had that moment last night ... one of a growing number of moments ... and has begun to shut some folks up.
Happy ... for ... the ... kid.
Especially being on national TV instead of regional coverage. I think a lot of people might be starting to change their minds about him. Couldn't be happier for him, and of course what it means for the team.
