Let me just say this. Last night's Goff...

is the Goff you saw if you watched video of him at Cal.

Last night's Goff was what I envisioned when I advocated for drafting him over Wentz.

And I have nothing against Carson Wentz, who is starting out great again this season.

The Goff of last year was UNRECOGNIZABLE as the same guy that threw all those TD's at Cal.
Lost, uncertain, forcing things, hapless.

And I had become half a doubter myself when it just seemed as if maybe the NFL game was too big and fast for him.

This evaluation isn't over yet by any means.
What is his ceiling? Can he continue to grow? Can he fix the weak areas that WILL be attacked?
IS HE CLUTCH? (He wasn't last week in crunch time.)

We don't know all of that yet.

But what we seem to know now is that if you give him a good environment (line, receivers, scheme), he ain't no bust.
