This was the kids' 9th game. In his career. This is exactly what we should expect. He'll make great plays and have great games like last week and he'll make crucial mistakes that could cost a game like this week. BTW he did lead us down the field deep into the red zone where we should've taken the lead right before the last series and our vet WR lost his mind twice with big penalties and then dropped a TD pass to boot. Our D broke giving up the go ahead TD and some hoped Goff would suddenly Brady us down the field for the win. Not I. Too soon. He's not ready. He is a pup. In a new offense with new receivers. When the scheme leaves open receivers he hits them. I think he's shown excellent accuracy so far. When he improvised off his first read he's done pretty darn well. If our OL misses a block and he's looking downfield he's susceptible to strip sacks. Any QB is. Of course he shouldn't have thrown the interception into triple coverage. It was horrible, but so was the call. I would've actually run a draw to TG30 with a timeout and 1:46 to play. He probably get ten yards leaving 58 to go with 1:30 left.
