Wentz for all his faults IS an off-script guy. In fact that's his game ALL THE TIME. He is going to garner many accolades for his late game heroics in fact. And when guys play like that it's rare that anyone speaks to the fact that "around" their late game abilities they screwed the pooch often times which PUTS him in those very "need to come back" situations.
Just like in the old MLB days when relievers would come in to a non save situation....THEN CREATE ONE ON THEIR OWN.
Goff right now is executing the game plan very well but it's obvious when the play fails, he fails most of the time. He DID however, as I mentioned in the forum yesterday, make a great play to find Everett on that broken play.
On the int however, he wasn't taking any chances, he was throwing to his security blanket come hell or high water, which is something else I mentioned previously. "What happens when defenses take away Kupp?"
Perhaps Watkins needs to move in with Jared for a while huh??

I'm talking STRICKLY about end of half/games. Otherwise I thought he played well for the most part. It's obvious though that his game AT PRESENT is married to McVay's ability to scheme up mismatches and early reads.
R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..
Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
