Back when I was a kid, no player left your team unless they were traded. No free agency. The team that drafted you was "YOUR" team, unless you got traded or had a career ending injury.
NFL 2017 is a whole different animal. IMHO, teams can turn it around almost immediately as long as they have "EXISTING" talent on the team. Go get a few key "FA's" that fill in positions that need upgrading. Draft another few players that upgrade other positions. You really have a recipe for turning around a team quicker than you think.
Fisher did not leave the cupboard bare. This team had talent. I think we saw that on display last weekend. Of course, EVERY team wishes they had all 22 positions being an All-Pro player, but that is not reality.
This team is hungry to WIN. After last weeks win, they are all ears to what McVay is preaching. This Rams team gets out of the gate fast and WINS EARLY, then there is no telling what this group is capable of doing.
IMHO..........Playoffs 2017...........Go Rams!
