I cried with Bruce during the '99 9ers game. It was special. We hadn't beaten them in a decade, and when we did it, I knew that team was for real.
Also laid bets and made a killing in '99. You're right. You could just feel it.
I also feel that McVay is a very special individual. His maturity is beyond his years. Contrast his actions vs how Shanny Jr acted last week and I'm so grateful that we made this hire. More than
any individual player, this man has the chops to turn this team around.
Can't wait to see how the rest of this season plays out. If we win out up to the 'Boys, I'll be very excited to see if this team has the maturity to make a real go of it. I'd be almost as anxious to see how we handled the loss, if the flip side plays out.
