Well there IS a heavy sticking point.
Spread qbs have made it all the time in the NFL, but ones from the Air Raid version of the spread have not. Honestly, the odds that they all just ended up with mediocre coaches are slim to none.
That goes back to Couch in 99. It's a long list too. When Goff makes it he will be the first. And I won't ever believe that only one coach in all of the NFL could have gotten him to that. In fact I think a lot of it is Goff himself.
Which is not a putdown on McVay, for whom I have real respect. It's just a dig at the shallow logic of the article starting this thread.
