But then why will Goff be the only Air Raid or Air Raid variant qb who becomes a starting qb in the NFL, going back to 99? (I assume he IS becoming that and though technically that's jumping the gun, I don't personally think it is).
So all that time they were all just the wrong coaches?
Logic tells me---nah. Weak argument.
Plus of course, as good as he is, McVay is NOT coaching a rookie. The Goff McVay gets has been through not just a season but 2 different pre-season private qb guru coaching sessions. McVay benefits from that, obviously.
