I think you're dead right about McVay dictating opposing D's, and forcing them into revealing the true coverage they are playing for any specific play. It makes this coming game fascinating, IMO.
If you're right, (again, I think you are), the challenge increases this week as teams catch on to McVay's playbook and use of his players. How will he continue to 'make it easy for Goff' yet not get utterly predictable?
These days, my elder years, I try to put aside the 'coach' in me and simply sit back and enjoy the game. Then along comes McVay and "Everytime I think I'm out they pull me back in".
