After making a spectacular catch on a phenomenal throw from Goff, the Giant LBer ran past Gerald without touching him.
He stood up and held the ball up for over a full second (thank God he didn't spike it) until the heady Kupp tapped him on the shoulder and pointed to the end zone, making him realize he was not down yet.
He still got down to the 7 or 6 yd line, but if he would have gotten up and ran immediately, he could have notched a TD in his first game as a pro. Rookie gaff.
Everret looks like the real deal. All our receivers are going flourish in McVay's committee approach to offense, especially the TE's.
