St.Louis took lots of hits about supporting the Rams. I read where the attendance was 36,000. There is a simple reason.
The point will always be...when you lose miserably for a decade, people won't show up.
The Rams aren't ever moving again so this isn't about comparing St.Louis vs. LA. I hope as a continuing fan from St. Louis that this changes because it is embarrassing to the team and to me as a fan. What free agent wants to play to 40,000 people?
The attendance message should be for Kroenke.
Building a palace will work for a while...but the shininess of the new stadium will wear off.
It's no coincidence that the cities deemed to have great football fans, have histories of winning and winning championships.
