No way am I betting on Goff to be the man for the Rams for the next 5 years (6 years total including his rookie season in 2016). Just not a wise bet until he shows more improvement and consistent play.
I will say that if he seems to have a great head coach to help become successful. If McVay and Snead can continue to build the OL for him and build strong enough around him he could definitely succeed even if he never ends up being anything special.
Let's see, but right now I'm betting against him until I see more improvement.
